Pittsfield Contemporary returns to the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts on July 23rd for its 3rd annual exhibition. This show of artists who reside or create in Pittsfield was juried by Stuart Chase, executive director of the Berkshire Museum here in Pittsfield, and Sienna Patti, owner of the Sienna Gallery in Lenox, MA. The show debuts with an opening reception on July 23rd, from 5 to 7pm and will hang until August 28.

This exhibition coincides with the preparation and opening of a new gallery on North st. by members of Pittsfield Contemporary.com. This new space has a similar mission to the annual show: to present new, fresh and affordable artworks. This gallery will also include spaces for workshops and co-working. You can visit their website at Northstreetgallery.com

This year’s exhibit includes returning veterans of the exhibition along with six new artists, featuring collage from master crafter Huckleberry Delsignore; painter and director of Storefront Artist Project, Julia Dixon; photography by Jay Elling of Pittsfield Contemporary and Umbrella Digital; landscape photographer Ken Green, sculptor/printmaker Nathan Keay, the fine photo portraiture of Eric Korenman, fibers artist Fern Leslie, painters Mike McKay and Michael Rousseau along with the photography of Joseph Wilk.

This exhibition is sponsored by Mission Bar and Tapas along with The Market, each will provide catering and refreshments for the opening reception on July 23rd. For more information about the event, call 413-499-9348 or email pittsfieldcontemporary@gmail.com.
