Well known for his use of recycled metal to create familiar objects such as quilts, chairs, deer heads and kimonos, Chandler explored the mountain and the 1930′s lodge, gathering materials and producing a series of objects and sculpture based on his experience.

Gordons residency concludes on Friday, July 31 with a presentation and discussion of works produced during his 2009 residency at Bascom Lodge.

The Presentation, from 6 – 7:00, is free and open to the public.
