			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ferrin galleries Gordon Chandler month of residency at the Bascom Lodge will be concluding on Friday July 31st.  Reopened in the beginning of July, the Bascom Lodge is the latest endeavor of Peter Dudek of the Storefront Artist Project. <p>Well known for his use of recycled metal to create familiar objects such as quilts, chairs, deer heads and kimonos, Chandler explored the mountain and the 1930&#8242;s lodge, gathering materials and producing a series of objects and sculpture based on his experience.</p>
<p>Gordons residency concludes on Friday, July 31 with a presentation and discussion of works produced during his 2009 residency at Bascom Lodge.</p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial;">The Presentation, from 6 &#8211; 7:00, is free and open to the public.</p>
